Barcelona, 7 September 2022
- ”la Caixa” Foundation announces its cultural programme for the 2022-2023 season: 30 shows at CaixaForum centres and the CosmoCaixa Science Museum, and 8 travelling exhibitions touring Spain and Portugal. Of the 38 shows, 10 will be seen for the first time.
- The programme invites audiences on a journey into the heart of archaeology, art, science, photography, comics and film through activities organised in cooperation with major international institutions such as the British Museum, the Science Museum of London and Boston Museum of Science.
- The outstanding novelties include a scientific examination of how Pixar characters are created, a study of all the facets of nineteenth-century portrait painting in cooperation with the Prado National Museum, a journey through the history of experimental photography under the guidance of the Centre Pompidou, an introduction to the most cinematographic spies with La Cinémathèque Française, and a visit to the private collections of major artists represented in ”la Caixa” Foundation Contemporary Art Collection.

Elisa Durán and Ignasi Miró, Deputy General Director and Corporate Director of Culture and Science of ”la Caixa” Foundation, respectively, presented the institution’s new cultural programme for the 2022-2023 season. Xavier Bertolín, Corporate Director of Education and Marketing, also took part in the event, which was attended by the directors of the CaixaForum centres and the CosmoCaixa Science Museum.
