Feminine power, Berlanga, dinosaurs and nature in art, in the new season of the CaixaForum network
Barcelona, 7 September 2023
- The ”la Caixa” Foundation announces its programme for the 2023-2024 season: a total of 34 exhibitions, including 10 that will be seen for the first time, will tour the CaixaForum centres and the CosmoCaixa Science Museum as well as various cities in Spain and Portugal in their travelling version.
- The programme features a variety of proposals and disciplines, combining in-house productions and others in collaboration with such major institutions as the British Museum, the Centre Pompidou, the Cinémathèque Française, the Museo Paleontológico Egidio Feruglio and the Museo Nacional del Prado, among others.
- Standing out among the in-house productions is the new exhibition dedicated to the most intimate legacy of filmmaker Luis García Berlanga. And notable as the fruit of international partnerships, the exhibition produced in collaboration with the British Museum on the representation of feminine power across diverse cultures and periods.
