The terms and conditions of use indicated below regulate access to the website of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation press room, which can be accessed via prensa.lacaixa.es, and the use of the distinctive symbols, images, and, when applicable, work resources that the ”la Caixa” provides to users of this website.

A user of the website of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation press room shall be understood as any natural or legal person that accesses it, without necessarily having downloaded contents from the website.

The acceptance of these terms and conditions of use in each of the downloads of contents represents their full and unreserved acceptance.

Under no circumstances may any photographic or audiovisual images that are not published at any given time be used, and therefore users must check at the time of use of the images or of the audiovisual contents whether the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation still has them published on the website.

The credits for images must be included.

  1. Intellectual and industrial property rights

All the elements contained on the website, such as trademarks, trade names, photographs, audiovisual works, drawings and documents, however they are represented, are either the property of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation or the organisation has the necessary licences in each case for their use, reproduction, distribution and public communication. The reproduction, copying, use, distribution, commercialisation, public communication, transformation or any other activity that may be carried out using said elements is not permitted outside of the scope for which the authorisation is granted. Their use outside the provisions of these terms and conditions is strictly prohibited.

  1. Liability

The ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation does not accept any liability for possible security errors that might occur due to the use of computers infected with computer viruses or for any consequences that arise from the poor functioning of browsers or due to the use of outdated versions of them.

The breach of these terms and conditions of use by users shall mean the immediate cancellation of the authorisation granted to them by the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation for access to the website, without prejudice to the liabilities that might be claimed against them, both contractual and extracontractual, due to a possible violation of the intellectual or industrial property rights of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation or third parties.

  1. Termination of the authorisation

The ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation reserves the right to terminate user access when it becomes aware that users have repeatedly breached or are breaching these terms and conditions of use or any rules that might be established.

  1. Modifications to the conditions

The ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation reserves the right to unilaterally modify these terms and conditions of use at any time, said modifications entering into force on the date of their publication.

  1. Applicable legislation and competent jurisdiction

These terms and conditions of use shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. In order to exercise any actions, objections and incidents that users or the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation might have due to these terms and conditions of use or any applicable legislation, both substantive and procedural, the parties expressly submit to the courts of the city of Barcelona, waiving their own jurisdiction and venue if these are different.
